  6. MPImage is a tool for viewing, scaling and converting Images.
  7.  
  8. It can load the following formats:
  9.  
  10. ILBM     : All standard ILBM formats including EHB, HAM6, HAM8 and 24bit;
  11. PBM      : All formats (P1, P2, P3, P4, P5 and P6);
  12. DataTypes: Any datatype supported format;
  13. JPEG     : Loads JPEGs with Djpeg;
  14. PNG      : Loads PNGs with pngtopnm.
  15. DCTV     : DCTV ILBMs with dctv.library version 3.
  16.  
  17. It can view in the following modes:
  18.  
  19. Workbench    : View in a window on the Workbench;
  20. Public Screen: View in a window on a named Public Screen;
  21. EGS Screen   : View in a window on the default EGS screen.
  22. Screen       : View on a custom screen
  23.  
  24. It can save in the following formats:
  25.  
  26. Greyscale: ILBM 16 shades and 256 shades;
  27. HAM6     : ILBM HAM6 with fixed, computed or supplied palette;
  28. HAM8     : ILBM HAM8 with fixed, computed or supplied palette;
  29. EHB      : ILBM EHB with computed or supplied palette;
  30. COLOUR   : ILBM with computed or supplied palette, 2 to 256 colours;
  31. ILBM24   : 24 bit ILBM;
  32. PPM      : P5 and P6 modes.
  33. JPEG     : JPEG with Cjpeg.
  34. PNG      : PNG with pnmtopng.
  35. DCTV     : DCTV ILBMs with dctv.library version 3

  37. It includes files which allow MPImage.library to be called from any
  38. C program and includes some example source.
